QUALIFIED is committed to the development and support of a diverse supplier base. We focus on the development and inclusion of all capable service suppliers. Our primary objective is to identify the most qualified suppliers capable of meeting our quality, integrity, and performance requirements.

Through the Supplier Diversity program at QUALIFIED, we enlarge our pool for qualified vendors and superior services, while providing economic development opportunities for diverse business enterprises, which include, but are not limited to, minority, women and disabled- veteran owned suppliers. It is the objective of QUALIFIED to encourage the development of mutually beneficial business relationships with qualified MWDVBEs.
Qualifying as a Diverse Supplier

Minority Business Enterprise (MBE / MOSB)

A minority business enterprise (MBE) or minority-owned small business (MOSB) is defined as business owners who are African American, Hispanic American, Native American, Native Alaskan, Asian Pacific and Subcontinent Asian Americans (East Indian). Minority business status requires 51% or greater ownership by minorities, or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more minorities, as well as management and control of daily business operations, with experience or technical expertise directly related to the primary product or service of the business.

Women’s Business Enterprise (WOBE / WOSB)

A women-owned business enterprise (WOBE) or women-owned small business (WOSB) is defined as business owners who are non-minority women with 51% or greater ownership, or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more women, as well as management and control of daily business operations, with experience or technical expertise directly related to the primary product or service of the business.

Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE / SDVOSB)

A disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE) or service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) is defined as a small business concern that is at least 51% owned by one or more disabled veterans, or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more disabled veterans. In addition, one or more disabled veterans must control the management and daily business operations.

Certifying Agencies

QUALIFIED accepts certifications from third-party agencies, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and its regional affiliates, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) and its regional affiliates, and other State and Federal Government agencies.

If you meet the qualifications for a diverse business enterprise and would like to register your company with the Supplier Diversity program at QUALIFIED:
  • Complete the Vendor Registration form here.
  • Indicate your Minority or Diverse Owned Business status in the appropriate fields.
  • Send an email including a copy of your certification and any additional pertinent information to supplierdiversity@thinkqualified.com.
